World-class multispecialty operating theatres

Healthcare shall be a super-specialised centre for a range of surgical specialities. The Centre will include modern, well-equipped operating theatres, procedure rooms, and comfortable patient facilities with a range of advanced clinical technologies that undertake complex major surgeries including cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, paediatric surgeries, and several other specialties The main theatre complex located in the first floor consists of four fully-equipped operating theatres that include: ultra-modern operating tables, surgical display monitors, medical gas system, and robust surgical lighting support.

Comprehensive equipment range

Transatlantic Healthcare offers a comprehensive range of advanced medical equipment that are mostly in short supply locally in Nigeria and across most of sub-Saharan Africa. These include: advanced diagnostic equipment such as medical imaging machines (CT and MRI scanners);
durable medical equipment (DMEs); treatment and surgical equipment (infusion pumps, surgical machines, medical lasers, etc); life support equipment such as ventilators, heart-lung machines, dialysis machines and incubators; and a range of medical laboratory equipment for analysing different types of biological material.

Critical care capabilities

Critical Care Units areas within the Transatlantic HealthCare will be specially-staffed, equipped and designed to closely monitor and treat patients with life-threatening conditions. A significant proportion of the critical care case we expect to handle will include organ failures, road accidents, head injury,
burns, severe infections, renal failure and heart failure. The Critical Care Unit includes 19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds and High Dependency Unit (HDU) beds. Our critical care physicians will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage complex conditions faced by patients in ICU and HDUs

Hospitality-focused accommodation and facilities

Transatlantic Healthcare is designed to be truly unique; offering the highest quality private care to patients. The Centre has well-furnished and equipped accommodation facilities that include 65 single patient beds and 10 double rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. In addition to the standard patient wards, there are 6 studio apartments, 10 1-bedroom apartments and 2 2-bedroom apartments situated on the 13th and 14th floors of the main hospital tower that offer additional privacy and convenience. The Medical Centre complex is equipped with heavy-duty and fully-redundant 500 KVA generators to ensure stable and uninterrupted power supply.
